Growing up in Berlin, we saw our city smothered in a haze of exhaust and frustration. Every commute was a parade of noisy, heavy, fuel-guzzling machines that seemed like relics from another era. There had to be a better way.
A SINGULAR VISION.
In 2019, when we moved to New York, we founded one - Pave Motors - with a singular vision: a future where people could move effortlessly and sustainably through city streets or country roads free from the noise and grime of combustion engines.

A TEAM OF INNOVATORS.
Fast forward to today. We’ve built a team of innovators, every one of them relentlessly laser-focused on Pave’s vision and mission. We also found our “inspirational” home – the Brooklyn Navy Yard - a hub for creators and dreamers, where design and assembly could come together under one roof.
A YEAR OF INSPIRATION.
We put in a year of grit and grind, building, designing, evolving, refining, 10 prototypes for a new kind of electric motorbike. The Pave BK, our first model, named for its Brooklyn roots—is the product of that passion. It was soon joined by the brawnier, more adventurous Pave(u) Explorer.
A RIDE INTO MOBILITY’S FUTURE.
Both are fully designed, assembled, and distributed here in the United States, just blocks from where our vision began. It’s our tribute to city life minus the noise and fumes, open roads with no end in sight, and our passionate pledge for the future of a ride as clean, intuitive and exhilarating as the streets it was made for.
